Solid Core Composite Doors

Navy blue solid core composite front door

What Are Solid Core Composite Doors?

Click here for an in depth comparison between a Solid Core Door Vs a GRP Door.

Solid Core Composite Doors are an upgrade from the standard GRP foam filled doors.

The solid timber core means that the door is much stronger than the standard GRP door. Visually the doors look almost identical and as with a standard GRP Composite Door, there is very little maintenance involved.

Solid core doors are currently available from us using either a 44mm door slab or a 48mm slab. Certain options will sometimes limit you from one to the other.

Solid core composite door vs grp composite door

Solid Core Doors are the preferred choice by insurance companies

Solid Core doors are preferable to GRP doors in the eyes of most home insurance companies.

With around 900 homes broken into everyday, upgrading your front door, or even your rear door is something definitely worth considering. This along with our Ultion upgrade at only an additional £22 means that it would be almost impossible for anyone to break in through your new door.
