Composite FD30 Fire Doors are a purpose build composite door that that has been tested and can withstand fire for a minimum of 30 minutes. Due to the potential life saving requirements of these doors, they should only be installed by a qualified and experienced installer.
We have installed hundreds if not thousands of Fire Doors, alot of these jobs come to us when lease holders received letters from Derby, Sheffield and Nottingham City Councils, this is usually because the existing door does not meet current regulations.
As registered City & Guilds Fire Door Inspectors as well as UKAS Accredited FireQual FD30S Fire Door Installers, we are able to self-certify our work from survey to completion, this makes the installation of your new fire door a simple, stress free process.
The composite fire doors we install are certified FD30 Fire doors with smoke seals along with intumescent strips and are tested by Warringtonfire and Certifire. All of the fire doors we supply are bi-directionally tested (tested on both sides against fire and smoke) to British Standard BS 476 :1987, parts 22 & 31 . Our externally rated fire doors are tested to en1634 -1. Our external rated fire doors can also be fitted internally if needed. Work carried out by us comes with a full installation warranty and also upto a 10 year manufacturer's warranty.
Pricing for our Fire Doors would fall into one of 3 options, garage, internal and external.
They are typically used for;
For a fire door to be classed as internal, there must be another door between the door looking to be replaced and the outside elements.
The types of fire doors we install are not generally recommended for use between rooms inside of a property (for example between a living room and a kitchen)

This includes a new door, frame, CE marked hinges, handles, locks, intumescent strips, smoke seals, an automatic overhead self-closer (consealed closers also available), other options such as letterplates, door knockers, spyhole, etc are also available, see options below.
Installations also come complete with both the Warringtonfire Certifire test certificate as well as a UKAS approved FireQual Fire Door installation certificate.
If required we can also offer Dual Certification which would include PAS 24 Secure By Design certification, this is currently only available if we install an externally rated fire door, although our internally rated fire doors can be specified with the same security options but would just not include a secure by design certificate.
We can also carry out a City & Guilds Certified Fire Door Inspection, prices starting from £165 including VAT and may vary depending on location and the quantity of doors that require inspection.
